　題　：　マザー・テレサさんのこと

　マザー・テレサさんが、初めて、インドの社会に入って行っ
た時は大変でした。
　彼女にあったのは自分の志（こころざし）だけ。
　彼女を受け入れたのは、インドの「ヒンズー教の方たち」で
した。
　彼女の活動のための家を貸し、彼女の活動のための手助けの
人達が駆け付けました。
　元々、マザー・テレサさんのやりたい志の事は「ヒンズー教
の方達はしていました」。
　だから、正確に言えば、「マザー・テレサさんが、志を同じ
くする人たちの中に入って行った」なのです。
　ヒンズー教の方達は、多神教。
　イエス・キリストやマリアもヒンズー教の神々の一人として
いる宗教。
　この様な宗教教義の面からも、マザー・テレサさんもスムー
ズに受け入れられました。
　一神教のキリスト教には「異教徒を殺せ」の教義がある様に、
異教徒を忌む宗教ですので、この様なスムーズな受け入れとは
ならなかったでしょう。
　マザー・テレサさんは、最初、キリスト教からは、まったく、
孤立無援。
　手助けはヒンズー教の方達だけでした。
　彼女が、アメリカの映画の題材にされ、注目されるようにな
って後、キリスト教が、今までは何も彼女に注目せず、手助け
もしなかったが、世界の注目を集める様になってから、彼女と
行動をする様になった。
　今、キリスト教は、彼女を「広告塔」にしていますが、そし
て、ヒンズー教の方達は黙っていますが、真実は、この様な経過
をたどった。
　マザー・テレサさんが「ノーベル平和賞」を受賞しましたが、
同時に「ヒンズー教の方達も受賞すべき」でした。
　ノーベル賞選考委員はキリスト教徒だけ、その点、「お手盛
り」となった。
　インド政府は、彼女が亡くなられた時、国葬として大きな葬儀
を行ないましたが、キリスト教組織にも、この様な、大きな度量
が欲しいところです。
　また、彼女のキリスト教は、ビンズ‐教との共同生活から宗教的
にも影響され、彼女独特のキリスト教となっている。ヒンズー・
キリスト教、テレサ・キリスト教と呼ぶべき形となっている。
